January 29th: National Corn Chip Day
I honestly have no idea if you have corn chips in England. I don't know if I'm being stupid but I legitimately have no idea. I know you call big french fries chips, and American potato chips crisps, but do you even call a corn chip a corn chip? According to Wikipedia which, as we know, is always right, the most common corn chip in America is the Frito. I think the Frito explains America completely. We've pretty much taken a Mexican food(tostados), and totally slaughtered it by making it as fattening as possible. Also, the original commercial from the sixties has a super stereotypical Mexican as their mascot. Pretty much sums up 1960s America for you: fat and racist.
